While holidaying in India,we got quiet the taste for Chai tea. There is is used as a refreshing morning or afternoon tea. I have added the Isalean protein shake to make it into a whole slimming meal.
While holidaying in India,we got quiet the taste for Chai tea. There is is used as a refreshing morning or afternoon tea. I have added the Isalean protein shake to make it into a whole slimming meal.
Ingredients
- 250 mls warm Chai Tea (recipe to follow)
- 2 scoops Isalean Creamy French Vanilla
- 1/2 fresh peach or half a banana (optional)
- sprinkle cinnamon
- Chai Tea
- 6 Cardamon pods
- 6 cups cold water
- 10 cloves
- 10 black peppercorns
- 2 slices fresh ginger
- 6 black tea bags (recommend PG tips)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- Prepare the chai ahead of time as follows:
- Combine the whole cloves, cardamon pods, black pepper in a motor and pestle, pound to crush.
- Add to a pan with the water, and ginger slices, bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, add the tea bags.
- steep for a further 5 minutes.
- Strain and heat to warm as needed, or chilled.
- Chai Isalean shake:
- Add to blender:
- 250 mls of luke warm or cool prepared tea
- Isalean Creamy French Vanilla
- peach (optional but tasty)
- Blend at high speed and enjoy!
